This bag is a mix of real quality leather and Aso-oke fabric. Aso-oké roughly translates as ‘clothes from the up-country’, is a beautifully woven fabric, specially hand-woven on wooden looms — a process that remains unchanged for centuries, in the south-west of Nigeria.

This bag is handmade and the perfect addition to your collection.

The weaving of the fabric is the most important part of the process, it is a delicate process that entails proper attention to detail and skilled craftsmanship. The weaver gently presses down on the pedals of the ‘orun’ and uses their hands to weave the material to create the signature designs in a variety of colours.
