CARE FOR YOUR YOFRICANA PRODUCTS

Brocade or Jacquard Clothing

(including Kimono Dresses)

  • Dry Cleaning: The delicate design and texture of this fabric requires it to be hand washed (Gentle Hand washing )
  • Do Not Tumble Dry: The brocade fabric should not be tumble dried. High heat can cause the fabric to shrink or become distorted.
  • Do Not Bleach: The brocade fabric should not be bleached. Bleaching can weaken the fibers and cause the colors to fade or become discolored.
  • Iron on Low Heat: Do not place a hot iron directly on your brocade clothing. The brocade fabric can be ironed on very low heat. You can use a cotton fabric as a barrier between the iron and your dress or use a pressing cloth to protect the delicate fibers and avoid applying too much heat pressure to the fabric.
  • Hang to Dry: It indicates that the brocade fabric should be hung to dry. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric as it may damage the delicate fibers

Brocade is a timeless and versatile material that adds an air of sophistication and luxury. It is known for its raised designs, durability, and elegance. Overall, the key to maintaining brocade fabric is to handle it gently and avoid any harsh chemicals, excessive heat, or moisture. With proper care, it can last for many years and continue to add elegance and sophistication to your wardrobe.
